Healthcare Informatics writes about medical device interoperability
Healthcare Informatics published an interesting article today about challenges in medical device interoperability. Network-enabled medical devices are now becoming more common but safety and security of patient data is still an issue. Evolving FDA regulations place more responsibility on hospitals to prove that patient data is moved safely and reliably and without corruption.
